Parducci routinely turns out very good value wines that are emblematic of thier Mendocino origins. This Pinot Noir is another in that line." > Full Article

Parducci & Paul Dolan Vineyards Inaugurate Wineries For Good

“Just when you think you’ve seen it all, just when cynicism and indifference seems poised to win the day ... I am here to tell you a bit of good news. Quiet, subtle, but very good news. Facebook announcements generally have all the luster and impact of lost pet fliers stapled to telephone poles. But two caught my eye the other day. First Parducci, then Paul Dolan Vineyards. The subject was microfinance and a San Francisco-based organization named KIVA..” > Full Article

Parducci's 2009 Sauvignon Blanc from Mendocino County
“Parducci shows that California does produce affordable, delicious, and most importantly, balanced versions from the varietal. I'm really digging this wine ... a STRONG BUY recommendation from me. Parducci Surprises Me With Their 2009 California Pinot Noir!

“Parducci … blows other pinot noirs that cost twice as much clean out of the water. It's almost not fair how superb this wine is, considering it comes in at way under $20… Aromatically this is textbook pinot noir. Great spices combined with a sour cherry and red currant note, rhubarb and a tiny bit of oak present as well. When I sniffed my glass for the first time, my face lit up … the fact that Parducci's pinot noir is so true, so varietally pure can't help but entice us to taste it … It's clear Parducci's winemaker, Bob Swain, did a wonderful job with this vintage …  Do yourself a favor, taste this and you'll realize what pinot noir used to be like and that sometimes it really doesn't have to cost $20 or more to be wonderful.” > Full Article

Parducci Uncorks Its True Grit
"Parducci, one of Mendocino County’s oldest wineries, got a turn in the spotlight last week when the winery’s True Grit Petite Sirah made its Hollywood debut. Parducci partner Tim Thornhill saddled up and rode down to Los Angeles (OK, maybe he flew) to pour wines at the cast screening of Ethan and Joel Coen’s new Academy Award contender, True Grit ... The True Grit label bears a line drawing of a pair of boots with spurs and the words “indomitable of spirit, enduring and steadfast, rugged and appealing.” Sounds like the Duke to us." > Full Article

The vineyard soils are rich, and growing is done without the toxic and harmful use of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers."

Parducci, Building The Future

"Not all wineries, after all, may believe they have the resources to accomplish what has been done at Parducci. But Mr. Thornhill turns the question around. Aligning yourself with the natural forces of Nature (with a big ‘N’) will save you money. And perhaps the world. After all, how much is spent on pesticides, municipal water, and electricity?" > Full Article
