Winelines Online gave great reviews and high ratings to a couple of Parducci Wine Cellars True Grit reds:
2012 Parducci ‘True Grit’ Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendocino County
"Dark flowers, tobacco leaf, herbal notes, dark berries, milk chocolate and a bit of dustiness show themselves in this Cab. In the back end, earthy, medium-grained tannins emerge. The wine is lighter than expected in the mouth, making it a sublime companion to food." Wine Lines rating: 88
2012 Parducci ‘True Grit’ Reserve Petite Sirah, Mendocino County
"Opaque crimson-black in the glass, this wine is peppery yet sweet in the nose, with a prickly Zin-like petulance. Jammy fruit notes of black plum and fig intermingle with dark berries and a whiff of toasted nuts and dark flowers. This is a wine that is light enough to drink now with roasted/grilled game meats." Wine Lines rating: 91

The Tasting Panel continues: "Deep. Purple. A rustic and grainy core of tannins and texture on the tongue. It keeps reinventing itself with a slideshow of violets, spicy cedar, mocha, earth and black plum. The acidity shines through the screen, finishing with and unexpected juiciness."
